Certified Tutor

Hello! My name is Mollie. I am a graduate of Villanova University with a major in Mathematics and minors in Environmental Science and Theology. For the four years I was at Villanova, I worked for a tutoring organization where I got to tutor young people in the city of Philadelphia. Also at Villanova I was involved with the swim team and the environmental group. I graduated from my high school in the top 10% of my graduating class. I am currently working for a biofuel company and I hope to attend graduate school in the next couple of years to study energy policy and pursue my interest in renewable energy.

I have had experience tutoring a variety of different students of ages ranging from kindergarten to high school. My students have come from diverse backgrounds and have taught me how to relate to a variety of different students. I have learned through my past tutoring experiences how to personally relate to each student and how to cater lessons to his or her individual needs. Along with tutoring, I worked two summers at YMCA as the head of the swim clinic day camp. This taught me about how to patiently interact with students (or campers) in a meaningful way.

I am a friendly and sociable person! I love interacting with people. I truly love math and my hope is that I can make my students see the positive applications mathematics has in the real world!
