Certified Tutor

My hopes as a tutor is to instill in my students that academics and learning are positive and exciting experiences where they can be successful. I have been working with kids for over a decade now and am a certified teacher with a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Puget Sound. Through my undergraduate studies, I received a Bachelors in Music and a minor in English. I lived in northern California for two years teaching for AmeriCorps where I enjoyed gaining experience in both tutoring and teaching.

I have experience tutoring all elementary subjects, as well as experience tutoring English (for example, essay writing) with elementary, middle school, high school, and college students. Teaching and working with kids is truly my passion and I plan on continuing for the rest of my life. I look forward to meeting new students to create more successful learning experiences!

In my free time, I enjoy anything artistic whether its playing the piano and singing, painting, or heading out into the wilderness to take some pictures!
