Certified Tutor

I'm enamored with all things French. It's my first love and my gateway to everything from literature to linguistics. I'm a believer that true passion for what you teach is essential to being a great tutor. It's sometimes easy for students to forget what learning means to them in an often stressful and frustrating world of standardized tests and and final exams, but a helpful tutor can really make the difference by presenting the material in a way that is simple and clear and by approaching it with methods that meet each student's needs. I know my students can realize their true potential and success if I can help them see that you really can love what you learn!

After graduating from Tulane University in 2010, I left New Orleans for Paris, where I taught English as a Second Language at two public elementary schools in addition to tutoring, translating and coaching business-level English and French at a commercial language firm. Since moving back home to New York, I've been spending most of my time working, studying for the LSAT, playing a lot of music and working as a paralegal at a boutique law firm in Westchester County.
