I am passionate about helping students because achieving success in school and learning is important. It is very rewarding to see students grow in their learning, and see success in their education.

Over the past few years, I have worked as a substitute teacher, tutor, and a high school athletics coach. Currently I work as a an Elementary School Counselor. Some activities I enjoy outside of the realm of education include yoga/fitness, reading, playing with my dog, and cooking.

My teaching philosophy is to challenge and motivate students to help them grow to his/her full potential. I am very patient when I work with a student, helping to guide him/her to the correct answer through engaging lessons and encouragement.
