Learning should be fun and engaging. In my experience critical thinking is crucial for being able to succeed at any task. My time in the military and as a firefighter has definitely helped me learn in different ways that I never knew I could. As a CPR and EMT instructor for the past 20 years, I have learned to work with students at all knowledge and skill levels.

I am a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where I majored in Mathematics and minored in German. While there, I tutored college students at a variety of different levels in Mathematics. Afterwards, I taught Mathematics and German for five years at the Roberts Academy, a small private high school. I taught at every level from Algebra to Calculus. I'm passionate about math and love to teach it.
