Edina
Certified Tutor
As a passionate advocate for mental health and psychology education, I bring a unique blend of academic expertise and hands-on experience to my tutoring practice. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies, I have developed a deep understanding of topics such as psychopathology, human behavior, and health equity. My research and professional experiences have further refined my skills in critical thinking, data analysis, and academic writing, all of which I incorporate into my teaching approach.
My work with organizations like the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and Allies for Healing has strengthened my ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, practice active listening, and communicate complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner. I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can explore psychological principles, build their confidence, and deepen their understanding of the field.
I aim to inspire my students by making psychology relatable and relevant, whether by applying theories to real-world situations or guiding them through the intricacies of research and analysis. Together, we will not only enhance their academic success but also develop their ability to think critically and approach challenges with confidence.
