Certified Tutor

I am a graduate from the University of Michigan. I received my Bachelors of Arts in International studies with a sub focus on health and the environment and a double minor in Portuguese and Latin American studies. My entire sophomore year, I lived and studied in Brazil. Most of my work was focused in Sao Paulo. I am super excited to share my knowledge of the Portuguese language and the Latin American story with new students and hopefully provide an insightful look on the subjects. After graduation, I had the opportunity to work for the city government of Chicago and a local law firm. Most of teaching, we will focus on discussing specific narratives and building complex comprehension from these examples. From my experience working with young students, I value and promote individuality and respecting one's self dedication. Some of my hobbies include making music or dance choreography.
