Hi there! My name is Jax Revfi, and thank you so much for viewing my profile! I recently graduated from Wake Forest University (WFU) as a Double Deac with a Master of Science in Business Analytics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Statistics Honors with a Minor in Theater.

Education has been my focus throughout my academic career, and I hope to inspire those I work with to become lifelong learners. During my college career, I have pursued numerous opportunities to work with students in multiple capacities. I have over five years of tutoring and math intervention experience working with students from the elementary level to college seniors. I am passionate about helping students identify their academic goals, leading them through obstacles and difficulties, and most importantly, pushing them down their unique paths toward academic and professional success!

From my time working in WFU's Math & Stats Center, to working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, to assisting with elementary mathematics intervention through Teach for America, my years of tutoring experience have given me invaluable skills to support students in mathematics and achieving their academic goals.

Outside of academics, I thoroughly enjoy diving deep into the world of technical theater, music, and performance. From working as a lighting technician to being a stage manager for a student-run WFU production to seeing Coldplay eight times in concert, I never pass up an opportunity to be inspired by the talent both on and behind the stage's curtain. In addition, I enjoy playing video games and spending quality time with friends and family. Fun fact, I hold a world record speedrun in a game called Sonic Frontiers, and I am always looking for ways to further this hobby!

Hobbies

I enjoy theater and music, and I love going to concerts! My favorite band is Coldplay, and I have seen them eight times in concert. I have served in a variety of technical theater roles including lighting and sound technician, properties master, set constructor, and stage manager. Outside of theater, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and exploring the outdoors. I also enjoy playing video games and speedrunning. I currently hold a speedrun world record in Sonic Frontiers!
