I am currently finishing my senior year at Virginia Tech where I am studying Public Health and Geographic Information Systems. I have been a certified EMT for the past 5 years and just recently got my certification as a Wilderness First Responder. I have always been driven by a desire to make a positive impact in people's lives, and this passion extends into the classroom, where I enjoy supporting others in their learning journey. Over the years, I've had the chance to work with students in different wayswhether it's mentoring classmates in public health and science courses or guiding others through EMS training. These experiences have taught me just how important it is to be patient, communicate clearly, and adapt my approach to fit each person's learning style.

I love being outside and try to spend a lot of my free time hiking, camping, and just enjoying nature. I also love doing all sorts of crafts and I am currently learning how to sew! I am the kind of person who is always listening to music, especially rock. Fun fact: I am a diehard Pearl Jam fan!
