I am a recent graduate from the University of British Colombia. I did my undergrad in the faculty of Land and Food Systems where I majored in Global Resource Systems with a focus on public health and food systems in Latin America. I have been a tutor for the last 6 years and absolutely love working with kids of all ages. I love learning from my students and have gained so much experience with different styles of teaching. I have a fairly math and logic-oriented brain so I think I excel in science subjects as I tend to break things down and think about things systematically. With that being said I also love the humanities and have thoroughly enjoyed all of my history and geography classes.

Hobbies

Outside of acedemics, I enjoy spending my time outdoors. I love backcountry skiing, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and hiking. I also thoroughly enjoy a good beach day and playing card games with friends. This summer my goal is to broaden my hobbies by reading more, and I am teaching myself how to crochet.
