I am a Economics graduate, qualified chartered accountant and Senior Finance Professional with considerable experience gained mainly in the financial services industry. My work has required me to ensure I am up to date on Financial Accounting matters including IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP standards and understand from both a theoretical and practical application perspective.
I have always had an interest in developing people in my various roles, either as a line manager or a mentor and gained great satisfaction in seeing people improve their understanding and make progress in their careers. Education is a process that continues throughout a lifetime and drawing on the knowledge that others can give is a critical part of that.
