Certified Tutor

I am a Doctoral Graduate from the University of Sheffield where I research solar cells in the Chemical & Biological Engineering department. I also have a Masters Degree in Materials Science & Engineering. I have worked as a graduate teaching assistant while studying towards my PhD, supervising and tutoring masters students in Chemical Engineering. I have also worked as a Freelance Mentor, supporting tertiary level students with their work. I enjoy helping students get to grips with physics theories by appealing to intuition where possible, and careful application of analogy and diagrammatic explanations. I also enjoy taking the big picture perspective of historical, sociological and geographical context to provide clarification when teaching.
