Certified Tutor

Hello! I am John Lindsay. I am currently an Undergraduate Senior at the University of Kansas majoring in Microbiology with a minor in Business. I am also currently applying to Dental School, and am familiar with ACT Test Prep and DAT test prep. I enjoy helping students grow and understand material that they used to struggle with. When I was in high school, I took the ACT 5 times pursuing to get a score I was happy with, so I understand the journey, struggle, and triumph that accompanies the test prep realm.
My sub scores for my highest score from each section are listed below:
Math: 33
English: 35
Science: 30
Reading: 29
As you can see, I am very knowledgeable of the math and English section. I also have some success in the reading and science section. I like to work with students to find methods and tricks that work for them and that they understand. I have been a General Chemistry Tutor at the University of Kansas for one year and was an Introduction to Organismal Biology TA at the University of Kansas. I like to learn and understand the way particular students think as well as how they learn best to help tailor my tutoring tactics to them.
