I've spent the last ten years working in higher education as the program director for a top-tier engineering research university. In this time, I have valued the the quality relationships I've been able to nurture with each of my students. I've taught a freshman experience course each year since 2018 and it's what led me to return to the classroom myself to continue my own studies and complete my PhD in History.
I focus on test prep, college entrance essays, but also enjoy working with students in the subjects of history and writing. I work well with a diverse population of students and always prioritize individual needs. Student success is paramount, which can only be accomplished through a trusted and open relationship built on encouragement and individualized coaching methods.

I've been married to my husband for 18 years and we have 2 very wild and rambunctious boys that keep us on our toes. We love to travel when we have free time. When I'm at home, I am a voracious reader - mostly history! We also have a young mini Australian Shepard named Cooper that we are training in agility competition.
