Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. I also studied Emergency Medical Technician and Phlebotomy. Since graduation, I have worked in the following areas: Cardiac Intensive Care, Intensive Care, Occupational Health and Nurse Case Management. I have always had a passion for teaching whether it be patients or peers. During nursing school, I was a peer tutor for all areas of the nursing program. I also tutored students for the NCLEX. In the nursing field, I was frequently a preceptor and taught nurses how to critically think. I enjoy teaching later-in-life students. My teaching style is Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic. It involves working through your thought process and knowledge, building on it to make the best decisions. I have a knack for dissecting subjects and questions which is a necessity for NCLEX testing.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, gardening, camping, volunteering and spending time outdoors.
