Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Covenant University (Bachelor of Science in Economics). I received my Master's of Science in Sustainable Development Practice with a focus on Social sustainability; aiming at human development with health and education at the core. Driven by a passion to gain in-depth understanding about child psychology/development, I moved further to get certified in Early Childhood Development from the Sustainable Development Academy (SDG Edx Academy); a major contributor to my enhanced interaction with the middle school kids under my tutelage. I believe over the years, I have been able to build soft skills and experiences to help me be a competent tutor. I have experiences tutoring Primary School Learners (KS-1 and KS-2) in the following subjects: English, Mathematics and Sciences. I am known to be the kind of tutor that comes in to the role to inspire students develop a passion for learning.
An understanding of the pivotal role education plays in the society is a major fuel for the passion to constantly thrive for excellence in the delivery of my duties both as a tutor and a development practitioner. Creating a self-assuring environment, which allows my students to freely express themselves and open up more windows of fun-filled learning exercises is what I thrive to achieve with each lesson. As much as I would patiently guide students to learn at their pace, motivating them to improve and become better versions of themselves is a non-negotiable aspect of my teaching style. I know that with tutoring comes a great responsibility and I am up and ready to take up the challenge. When not tutoring or reading, I can be caught cuddling up with my baby and writing.
