Certified Tutor

I have been a violin teacher for 5 years and I love working with people of all ages! It is exciting to be able to help people understand new concepts and develop new skills!
I have experience tutoring people in many subjects including math, english, science, and music!
I currently attend Utah Valley University and am working on my Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
My favorite subjects to tutor are music, english, and math! Music is one of the things I am most passionate about, and I love being able to share that with others! I also really enjoy tutoring in math. Many people hate math, but it can be very exciting and satisfying to be able to solve problems once you understand the topic. I love being able to help people get to the point where they can enjoy math and build confidence in their own skills.
My tutoring style is very student lead. As a teacher I have worked with many students that have learning disabilities including ADHD and dyslexia. This experience has taught me that people learn in many different ways, and one style of teaching will not work for everyone. I am very flexible with how I teach and like to tailor it to each student.
