As a student, researcher, and lifelong learner, my goal as a tutor is to help create accessible learning environments for all types of learners. Not all students learn the same way, but supplemental tutoring allows students to engage with content through different ways to learn. When students find ways to engage with subjects that work for them, it empowers them to explore their passions.
With two bachelor's degrees in music and psychology, I have extensive knowledge and passion for these disciplines. I have taught one-on-one clarinet lessons since 2016 and have extensive experience with music theory and music history studies. Additionally, I worked as a resident assistant and academic mentor to first year college students, and I have a passion for helping students find study skills that work for them.
My tutoring subjects include academic coaching, audition prep, clarinet, music, AP Music Theory, psychology, social sciences, ACT english, writing, elementary math and writing, and middle school and elementary english. Whether it is music theory homework or finding different study strategies, I can't wait to help you along your path to academic success!

Hobbies

Whether it is practicing clarinet for a concert or listening to a spotify playlist, music is my absolute favorite thing. From Beethoven to Beyonce, listening, playing, sharing and talking about music is one of my favorite things. When I am not tutoring, I am often spending time outside, playing with my dogs, and practicing clarinet!
