I am a first-year student at the University of York studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I have always had a strong passion for learning and discovering new information, academic or not. This has allowed me to constantly want to immerse myself in new knowledge and surround myself with people and things that enable that. This love for learning has pushed me to want other people to share my desire, to appreciate the art of revelation and that eureka moment. I wish to make students excel in every aspect of their learning, and guide and prepare them for not only understanding the knowledge but what the exam board requires from them. I can tutor GCSE English Literature, Language and Mathematics in which I achieved A*'s. Maths has always been a strong suit and finding different methods to understand one concept always intrigues me so I'll always have different methods for students to try. I want to create a safe space for all my students and for them to feel confident and comfortable in every session and walk away learning something.
