I have been a high school science teacher for 10 years. In that time I have developed the skills to meet students where they are and help them gain the confidence in learning they need to be successful. I have a Bachelors in Science in science education and a Masters in Science Education and School Administration. I am currently in the process of getting my PhD in Curriculum. My passion is in Biology and I love to teach students to appreciate the understanding of Biological systems and organization. I also have extensive experience in Physical Science, Chemistry, and Environmental Science. I have spent many years developing teaching skills in the math and sciences with both my own children and students and have the skill to meet a student where they are and raise them to a place where they can be successful.
