Certified Tutor

I graduated from the University of Bristol and received a Bachelor of Science degree with honours. The discipline of my degree was Childhood Studies with Quantitative Research Methods and it was based in the School for Policy Studies. I have always been very fascinated with mental health. Therefore, I would like to study a Masters in Psychology and progress into Graduate Medicine to be a Child Psychiatrist. Prior to studying for my degree, I taught children and young people the rudiments of music at a weekly music class. I am really passionate about helping students because I have been a student for a long time and I understand the rigours of learning especially when there are difficulties. I consider myself a constant student as I am always learning. I am also quite a reliable individual who was often called upon by my peers to offer academic support and I am really brought to joy when I am able to help someone achieve something positive. I also am quite strong in the belief of being unselfish. I respect each pupil and see them all as leaders. I am intelligent and, I believe I have something great to offer in making my lessons enjoyable as well as objectionable. My experience working with students was a pleasurable one. I can recall lots of happy moments which were shared on both sides. The subjects I tutor are: Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language up to the GCSE stage. Additionally, I tutor Psychology and Chemistry at level 3 which is A Level standard. I really enjoy tutoring mathematics at GCSE stage, psychology, and Chemistry. I love these subjects as they are science related which I love everything scientific. I really love numbers and working out equations. I also love to solve puzzles in my spare time as a hobby. Other interest I pursue are swimming, playing sports such as tennis and riding my bicycle. I also like to read, travel and sing. My teaching philosophy or tutoring style is to encourage others to learn and to love to learn.
