A native speaker of German, currently working as a German Teacher at a selective secondary school in London, teaching all year groups.
Being born and bred in Germany, I have not only learnt the language fluently, but also the culture and so the importance of teaching it through my lessons. After school, I went to study German and Business Management at Queen Mary University, London, then did a masters in Banking and Finance. Following this, I worked in the financial industry using my German language skills for about 2 years- dealing with German speaking clients all over German speaking countries. This was a great experience especially having a job during the pandemic, which made me realise that I should teach German and encourage young pupils to take up German as it will open more doors for them when they go into the real world to start work. My passion is to teach all aspects of German including literature at higher level. I hope to encourage many more learners to keep learning this language so they can be even more successful in the future.

Since a very young age, I have started travelling and have been to over 25 countries so far. It is my passion to explore new places, get to know different people with different cultures and to find out more about how people all over the world live and what their values and beliefs are, as it helps me grow as a person. I also love swimming although I am not a professional - and going to the gym to keep active. Having spent a childhood in a small place, I started to love going out to enjoy different activties such as ice skating, roller blading and cycling through the countryside.
