I'm a graduate of Michigan Technological University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, the University of Michigan with an M.S.E in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School with an MBA. I'm also a licensed Professional Engineer and previously held a license as a builder. I've worked for fortune 500 companies and earned a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from Ford Motor Company and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from ASQ. I've worked for multiple Manufacturing Extension Programs teaching and training continuous improvement courses and have provided consulting to over 50 companies. I'm also the owner of two small businesses. My passion for teaching and helping others learn and grow started many years ago and I continue to look for opportunities to help. I've tutored in the UNC Kenan-Flagler business school after graduation and found it very rewarding. I can take complex concepts and make them very easy to understand.
