Certified Tutor

My name is Kaltra Moci. I am from Albania, and I am a 3rd year BME major at University of Florida. Biomedical Engineering has fascinated me since I attended a seminar at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering in Albania. Since then, my passion to choose this career has only surged. Having the opportunity to earn a degree from the prestigious University of Florida College of Biomedical Engineering, I hope to utilize the skills in engineering and quality control to analyze and create solutions to problems in medicine. Many lives remain at risk because of the current shortcomings in the field. My goal is to improve the quality of each patient's life and to better the world.

I worked as a Calculus 3 Teaching Assistant, Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville for about one year. I worked with the teacher to help 50 students per semester to succeed in the course and taught classes, grade papers, and projects directly for the professor. Moreover, I am currently an Electrical Engineering teaching assistant at University of Florida. I work with the teacher to help 150 students per semester to succeed in the course. I grade assignments, homeworks, and Arduino Building projects directly for the professor. I also host office hours to help students. Another experience is the Chemistry Lab Assistant at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville. I set up lab equipment for the Chemistry classes, provided assistance to students and fulfill the duties with opening and closing the laboratory equipment room. Furthermore, I have been volunteering at Red Cross and I led a team of 20 people, including volunteer development, fundraising, relationship management and management of the local board of directors. I respect everyone's opinion and I like collaborating in teams. I believe that the best way to approach new projects is to assemble a group of people into a team.
I have many internships experience in Biomedical Engineering field. I have been a Compliance and Legal intern at Axogen, a Biomedical Engineering Intern at Hangtech LLC, and a medical device intern at National Technical Centre for Bioengineering in Albania.
Some of my qualifications are
visualization, and software, and Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
