I attend New York Law School and am a Michigan State University graduate. I received my Bachelor of Arts with a major in History focused on American and World History, mainly from the colonial-Vietnam war/ Civil Rights Movement Era. I also received a minor in Latin American Studies focusing on colonial Latin American History. I have worked and coached kids, and high schoolers in several different aspects, including sports. I believe I can emulate my passion for historical studies and writing to others! As I have learned myself, everyone learns differently! Visual vs. Linear learners can be Visual, Tactile, or Auditory; the key is working with each person to expand their knowledge to the potential possible! While I tutor in a plethora of subjects, across writing or History, I am most passionate about American, European, and Latin American History or historical writing. In my experience of helping in college, I felt that historical writing could bring philosophical and critical questions that are important for understanding. (Which can be very fun!) I take the philosophy of the enlightenment era saying: Sapere Aude, which translates to "dare to know." Knowledge is key for quality of life, and I try to take kindness and this philosophy to every student. (For something a little fun) In my spare time, I enjoy making music, working out/ mountain biking, or a good game of pickup soccer!
