Lifelong learning is my passion. Inspiring and equipping others to reach their goals brings me even greater joy. My optimistic approach to coaching others is based on scientific research findings about the amazing capacity for the brain to adapt and rewire itself through strategy and persistence.

My experience as an RN (ER, Urgent Care, NICU, Peri-Natal, Dialysis, Eye Surgery, Quality Assurance, Community Health/ Wellness, Medical Editing, and Home Health) probides me a wealth of real-life medical experience to draw from for tutoring NCLEX and/or nursing school admission tests.

I also enjoy using my energy and enthusiasm to inspire children to believe in their own scholastic aptitudes. Creatively home schooling my own children as well as teaching many other students over the past twenty years has provided me with extraordinary insight into effective resources for the varied learning styles of students. My love for art and music comes in handy for keeping younger students engaged.
Honing one's reading, writing, and arithmetic skills doesn't have to be boring.

I hold a bachelor-of-science degree from Southern Adventist University and an associate-of-science degree from Southwestern Adventist University. Most recently, I completed several post- graduate elementary education courses at the University of Alabama.
