I am a graduate of the University of South Florida where I obtained my Doctorate degree in Education and Policy Study. I began my journey by teaching middle school students in Geography and Social Studies. I taught 6-8th students which I loved. I was promoted later after 10 years to an Assistant Principal and finally as an Administrator. However, I never gave up my desire to help struggling students even while an Administrator. I have over 24 years experience working with students in Reading, ESOL and Geography.
I have worked with elementary, middle school, high school and adults in many areas. I often work in small groups to maximize my impact with students as well as one on one. My experience working with a diverse group of students also has helped me to hone my skills in determining that there is no one size fit all approach to education. Therefore, I attempt to be creative in working with students. My recent experience has been with VIPKID, BookNook and Credit Recovery for high school students.
I am a avid reader and I love to travel and meet people. Reading is my hobby.

I love reading and working with struggling students. I also volunteer at my local middle and high school. I work with students one on one with 9th and 10th grade English students off track for graduation with their cohort.
