Certified Tutor

I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2008 with my Bachelors
Degree in Early Childhood Education, and went on to receive my Masters
Degree in Special Education in 2012. While expanding my teaching
expertise with a focus on inclusion, many opportunities have allowed
me to engage in working with multi- aged children from varying
backgrounds and abilities. My certifications and experience include
P5th, as well as Special Education General Curriculum K12 and Middle
Grades Language Arts. I am fully prepared to exercise my talents and
aptitudes in any and all of these areas.

Dynamic participation in providing a uniquely tailored, quality
education to meet the needs of every student is my ambition. I always
deliver, and have even developed a multifaceted curriculum with my
students' varied learning styles and motivations, a primary
consideration when planning individualized learning experiences. It is my
aspiration to groom my students with the tools that they will need not
only to learn, but to also think deeply and critically to problem
solve.

One of my strongest beliefs developed along with my teaching
experience after my formal education, is that my responsibility as a
teacher is to present literacy to our students in varied approaches to
promote a love for reading. Empowering students to take part in the
process of choosing their favorite books and discussing story elements
creates a positive association with literacy at any age. Teaching is
so much more than the challenge to me; It is and will be my students'
venue to a better life. It is my greatest desire to
teach and inspire students to reach their fullest potential.
