Hi! I'm Amanda and I'm passionate about education. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and earned my Master's degree in education as well with a speciality in Children's Literature. I have worked with many young students in the past 6 years in various subject areas. However, phonics and literature are my favorite because we read every single day with everything we do! I believe children learn in various ways - not one, uniform way. I teach the way students learn - by using various strategies and approaches to best reach all learners. Every child can and deserves to learn. My goal is to boost the self-confidence in children to make them better learners and love learning to be successful in all that they do!

I love reading, writing and, of course, teaching! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy exercising, playing with my dogs, baking, watching Disney movies, relaxing at the beach, or spending time with my friends and family.
