Certified Tutor

I graduated from West Virginia University in 1992 with a Masters in Hispano-American Literature. While pursuing my degree I was a TA in the Foreign Language Department. I taught classes fro College Spanish I to College Spanish IV. I taught in Lewisburg, West Virginia for four years before moving to Orlando, Florida. While my kids were young I taught as an adjunct at UCF and Valencia College. I presently teach at a high school in Orlando. I have being teaching at the same high school for 17 years. I taught all courses from Spanish I to AP Spanish Language and Culture. I have also being an AP reader. I love teaching my language because I believe it's important for a person to be bilingual. I am usually surprised about at the amount of people in the USA who are monolingual as opposed to other countries.
I believe once you know a first language your second language is easier to learn.
