I have always had a passion for teaching and have taught many things such as guitar, bass, chess middle school english and math, pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-calc, and College Calculus. As I am pursuing an economics degree at Vanderbilt, college has helped me understand my innate passion for teaching. While taking College Calculus freshman year, many of my friends were struggling and were often asking me for help. As I helped my friends that were on the brink of failing to pass calculus, I felt a sense of euphoria because I had the ability to help someone learn and become more knowledgable. My love for teaching stems from my willingness to help others, desire to impart my knowledge on students, and my ability to make a difference in students' lives.
