Certified Tutor

I graduated from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in cellular and molecular biology with a minor in biochemistry. During my time in college, I developed many effective study strategies which I took every opportunity to pass on to my peers. I tutored students at my university and mentored other biology students' research and professional development through my involvement in student organizations. I'm passionate about STEM education and outreach and am always working to better my science communication skills. As a tutor, I take an informal, cooperative approach. I'm here to listen to you and figure out what specific challenges we can address. Together we develop a personalized study plan that will help you get the most out of your courses. My favorite subjects to tutor are Human Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry. Learning about the many intricacies that make life possible never ceases to amaze me!
