Certified Tutor

I am a second year student at Tufts University. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Physics. While I have primarily tutored science courses in my past 2 years of experience, I am also confident in my ability to assist students with other areas such as reading comprehension, organization, writing skills, and mathematics. All of these additional areas are critical in the field of engineering and physics, and my in-depth education has provided me with the skills to assist students best in any of these areas.

As a tutor who enjoys helping students learn and grow, I believe that the strongest tool to helping students develop their skills is by first allowing them to develop a passion and confidence for their goals. My tutoring style include a variety of approaches, all of which integrate each of the following and more: confidence that the student has the ability to grow, interest in the topic to help students self-motivate to learn, and genuine comprehension of subject matter over memorization.

Outside of academia, I am very involved with the music community. I have been writing original music for 7 years and enjoy playing music with peers in various style bands. I also have a great love for the outdoors and spend much of my time on hikes or paddle boarding at the local lake.
