My experience in education goes back 32 years. I have taught students from grades 2 - College Aged Educational Students. Even though I have taught all subjects in the Elementary setting, my area of expertise is in mathematics. I have a BA in Education and an MA in Mathematics Education. I also have 18 additional Masters Level credits in mathematics. I am licensed to teach K-6 all subjects, K-12 Mathematics , Driver's Education, and to Coach. The area I most enjoy teaching are the Upper Elementary through High School topics in mathematics; including Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. In addition, I have 2 decades experience in remedial mathematics at the college and university level.
In addition to all of this, I love to be active in my school, my students' interests, and to engage families in our community.

Hobbies

I like to stay physically active, so my 2 favorite athletic activities are to play competitive tennis with the USTA and I also train for and run SPARTAN races around the Midwest. I am also a musician at my church and an accompanist at school for choirs and students performing solos and in group performances. I also love to spend time with my family in all kinds of museums, nature walks, and other educational experiences.
