My parents bought me my first chemistry set when I was in elementary school. My mother, a chemist by profession and a teacher by nature, has always encouraged my curiosity and my incessant need to ask "Why?". That curiosity and the invariable desire to know 'why' manifested into an insatiable love for science. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a chemistry minor. I am currently pursuing my Pharm. D. at Wingate University College of Pharmacy.
I want to encourage our future scientists and healthcare professionals to pursue their desire to answer 'why' so that they may one day answer the 'whys' of others.
