Teaching has always been my passion. I've had the wonderful experience of teaching in many of different settings. I have bachelor's degree in Special Education and my master's degree is in Literacy.
I am certified as a special educator and a reading specialist.
I have a thorough understanding of the reading process from beginning readers to adult learners.
I also have experience teaching math to K-8 students.
I try to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to each tutoring session every day. I believe that I owe it to my students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well. I also believe that learning can happen at any age and brings some great experience to the process.
