Certified Tutor

I am currently a graduate student at the Catholic University of America pursuing a Master's in Social Work. This past May, I graduated from Binghamton University in upstate New York with my Bachelors of Arts. My major was Psychology: Applied Behavior Analysis and I also minored in education. As part of my undergraduate degree, I worked at a school for students with special needs ranging in age from pre-school until Middle School. I also worked at a local after-school program where I planned activities and taught the children. Now that I am in a graduate social work program, I have an internship with D.C Public Schools. I love working with children of all ages. Although I tutor many subjects, I am most passionate about psychology, reading, and writing. As a psychology major, I can provide expertise and assistance with any level of psychology. I love to read and write. I can help with critical reading for standardized tests or reading for Middle and Elementary School levels. I am a diverse writer in that I can write many different types of essays. I can assist with college application essays and writing at any grade level, including college. I love to learn and to teach and I think we can have a lot of fun learning together! I also enjoy horse-back riding, yoga, and cooking.
