Certified Tutor

I am a fully qualified Maths and Science teacher and I teach at a Sixth Form College. Here I teach A level Biology, GCSE Maths and GCSE Science to students from the ages of 16 to 19 as well as teaching on a Science applied Life Science degree. The results for A level Biology are in the top 10% in the UK in Biology and the GCSE results are well above the national average.
I have been teaching for 38 years and have taught in High schools, Middle schools and Post 16 Colleges, teaching Maths and Science including Chemistry and Biology. I am a very successful Maths, A level Biology and Chemistry and GCSE Science tutor and produce bespoke learning programmes. I am particularly interested in helping my tutees gain confidence and achieve their true potential. My tutees enjoy the sessions and they remain with me until their exams with many coming back to recieve help with their A levels. Recently I have introduced Core Maths to my college which helps students with the more complex Maths content of their A level subjects. In the past I have also written for commercial online science courses. It is very rewarding seeing the huge strides my tutees make in their subjects and gratifying see them
overcome their specific difficulties in that subject.
