Certified Tutor

I graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in English and American Literatures. After graduation, I worked as an 11th Grade English teacher at Avon Old Farms School in Connnecticut where I also assisted in the theater department and edited the monthly alumni eNews. I currently live in Chicago where I am pursuing a career in acting. I love reading and writing and always aim to inspire this passion in students while instilling the fundamentals of critical thinking and communication that will serve them in school, testing and throughout life. Given my experience at Avon, I believe I am particularly strong at communicating with students who are struggling to balance the rigors of high school life with the stress of the college process.
In my free time, I can typically be found reading, working on my acting, exercising and occasionally indulging my enjoyment of several sports leagues.
