Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Oakwood University, an HBCU in the south, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology as a pre-medical student. Throughout those 4 years, I worked for VT and as an independent tutor in STEM-related subjects. My love for reading and writing also enabled me to tutor in those subjects. I am committed to fostering the love of learning to better our community one student at a time. When I look back at my many years of schooling (I am currently a medical student), the people who made the biggest difference in my academic performance were those who took one-on-one time to help me learn in the way that I learn best. I certainly would not be where I am today without them. This platform is where I give back - it is personal to me.
