I am a retired math instructor who loves working with students who struggle with Math, particularly Algebra. Even though I majored in Mathematics, I have been in Math classes that are frustrating and confusing! I found out early that finding the right kind of help can make such a difference. I want to be your right kind of help!
After graduating from college I worked in Corporate America ( General Electric, Lucent Technologies) in various positions until a friend who was a Math Professor suggested I pursue being an adjunct instructor at a local community college. From my first experience in the classroom I was hooked! Nothing is more rewarding than helping a student with an "I am not good at Math" attitude achieve success and confidence in his/her abilities.
Since then, I have taught a variety of Algebra classes (pre-Algebra through College Algebra) for over 15 years, most recently at Scottsdale Community College.
