I received my Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2012. I have spent the last 10+ years conducting research in the field of cancer biology. I started teaching as an adjunct, then as an Visiting Assistant Professor, at the College of Charleston. Then just last fall I became an Assistant Professor of Biology at Mary Baldwin University. I teach a wide variety of courses: Intro Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and in the past Genetics. I absolutely love teaching and getting students excited about science. I genuinely care for all of my students and want them all to succeed.
