I am currently a student at Muhlenberg College where I am a political science major and a German minor, planning to add a minor in French this coming fall. I have just finished my second year of college, during which I have spent three semesters. I am also just coming off spending a semester studying abroad in the south of France and staying with a host family, with the goal to become as fluent in French as possible. Before going to college, I graduated from South Side High School with a REGENTS diploma as well as an IB diploma. Although the subjects that I tutor are French, German and some basic elementary and middle school math, my favorite subject to tutor is language. I like to tutor this because I am best at this subject, I have a great working knowledge and am able to understand it well and explain it to others. I am passionate about helping students because I have seen what a difference good grades can make in getting into college and the opportunities it has been able to provide me. I am also especially passionate about teaching language because I believe it to be a highly valuable skill outside the world of academia. It is because of this that I would love to be able to share my knowledge with others and help them achieve their goals. I believe every student is different and that I have to adjust my approach on a per-student basis. All students learn in different ways, be it visually, analytically or in a number of other different ways. This is important to understand as to help aid him/her in their success. In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing soccer as well as learning other languages.

While I have many different interests, my main interest is languages. I like learning new languages, practicing with other people, and reading books in these other languages.
