I am a ninth year English teacher at Rockford Christian High School in Rockford, IL. I received my BA in English from Rockford University and my MA in Differentiated Instruction from Concordia University Chicago.

Teaching combines all of my passions: reading, writing, and most importantly, kids! I enjoy helping students reach goals they never thought possible.

When I am not in the classroom, I am coaching volleyball and basketball. I absolutely love sports and am a runner myself. I have completed three half marathons and look forward to many more! I am also the international travel leader at my school. I have taken students to London, Paris, Italy, Greece, and am leaving in a month to Norway, Denmark, and Sweden!

Whether in the classroom, on the court, or in the world, I love teaching kids and learning quite a bit myself along the way.
