Certified Tutor

I am an effective and patient tutor helping students with math, specifically algebra, geometry, as well as preparing for the ACT, SAT and Praxis. My approach is to will review the required math concepts and help complete practice tests/problems; demonstrating problem-solving (and checking) techniques, and building math confidence/knowledge. I have a good success rate because I listen to the student's needs and adapt myself to their style of learning. I enjoy seeing a student turn from dreading math to enjoying it.
