Certified Tutor

I am a passionate writer, editor, and English literature expert with over four year's experience. In 2017, I graduated from Houghton College with a B.A. in Writing. My expertise ranges from political science to Eastern European history, but I specialize in English literature and professional news-writing. As a tutor, I particularly love working with people to find their voices in writing, to find their own unique styles. I love taking rough, unformed essays or articles and making them concise and well-polished.

Outside of tutoring, I am a folk musician, an environmental activist, and a birder (yes, birding is an actual hobby!) I'm also an avid traveler; I've been to over 15 countries in the past three years alone, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tanzania, and the United Kingdom. Recently, I moved from Western New York to the Shenandoah Valley. I'm finding the sunshine and mountains quite to my liking.
