I am a middle school math teacher with over 15 years experience. I am a life-long learner, so I am always looking for ways to improve my content, instructional strategies, and interactions with my students. I currently teach 7th grade math and AIS, but have taught 8th grade math in the past. I also teach Personal Finance to high school students. I have experience teaching reading and writing at the elementary level as I spent two years teaching at the primary level.
I received my Bachelor's Degree from Plattsburgh State University in Upstate New York, and my Master's Degree from the University of New England in Maine.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading (historical fiction is my favorite genre), going to the beach, and snowboarding.
I have experience tutoring at all grade levels/subject areas and I am looking forward to working with students through 51Թ.
