I began my first tutoring company when I was 17 years old. I noticed that most of the kids at the local elementary schools were falling behind the grade level targets. Partnering with one principal, I began matching volunteer classmates with students. From there, during my college years I continued to work with children and adults in various ways. Adult illiteracy improvement, reading comprehension, various levels of math and science, and study skills and organization are just the broad categories of subjects I tutored.

I believe the tutoring experience should be comfortable and efficient. When working with children, they have already been in a fairly structured environment for approximately 8 hours. However, they now need additional hours of academic assistance. It is crucial that each session is focused on the needs of the student. Making sure to engage the student at their level and guide them through their difficulties is incredibly important, and I can't wait to meet with your student!
