Education is the heart in healing this world we live in. Without it, the world would be in chaos; but with it, we find peace, tranquility, and satisfaction.

I have had over 20+ years of teaching experience under my belt. I have a Bach. of Science in education from Chaminade University of Honolulu and have recently graduated from Northcentral University with a MEd in Curriculum Development and Teaching for grades K-12. I am currently gaining a Master's in Teaching, primarily in secondary education at Northwest University (NU) in Kirkland, WA. I currently am endorsed in English Language Arts for high school students. I will be seeking a PhD in Education at the University of Washington soon after I attain my MIT at NU.

My teaching background brings tons of experience and creativity most especially in ELA (English Language Arts). My knowledge in ELA lies in my love for reading literature (all kinds of genre) and writing. My vast experience help students realize their potential in ELA and I give them challenges where needed, or extra help when necessary. Nonetheless, I help a student grow and expand their knowledge in ways that they were unable to by tapping into their potential.

In working with a student, I ensure that they will get the most out of my lessons. I do utilize researched-based techniques that will help students achieve their academic goals. I help a student rise to be their best while encouraging them to do his or her best.

I am currently a tutor at another company and have experienced tutoring children for grades 4th-10th.

A student's potential to learn is always inside of their inner being. My hope for the student is to become not only successful, but gain the confidence to learn and become an independent learner. I hope that this journey will bring your student success in his or her education.

During my spare time I do photography work and do own a business. I also spend time with my family and try to catch a superhero movie whether it's DC or Marvel, I love 'em all!
