Certified Tutor

I attended the University of Southern Mississippi where I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Professional School Counseling. I am currently in my 8th year of teaching and have received the Teacher of the Year Award at my current school. I have taught multiple grades and subject areas, but math is my passion because working with numbers excites me. My goal is to inspire, educate, and challenge students to push through moments of frustration to experience success both academically and socially. My teaching style is to access what the students know and need to know. Then plan accordingly. I am great at breaking skills and problems down in a way that most students can grasp. I am excited to become your tutor and help you get to the next level of academic success.
